Kiya had puppies...AGAIN!

Our beautiful Akita Kiya had puppies again...this is her 2nd and FINAL liter. She will be getting fixed after this liter of puppies are wheened. She had 2 females and 3 males this time. They are full of energy, rambunctious and adorable! Well...why don't you be the judge of that!

This big boy is our largest pup in the bunch...his name is "Sapparo" and he weighs in at 10.4 lbs!

This is "Kuro" and he's a handsome big boy with a gorgeous head set. He's already 9.4 lbs!

Ryan's 1st Triatholon

Ryan and a couple of his friends (Trevor & Justin) decided to run their 1st Triatholon. It was the LumberJack Triatholon and it took place in Cadillac, MI. We are very proud of him as we watched him train for this event. Swim, Bike, Run...is the order of events.

Ryan was the shortest one in the bunch and he came in 1st in his age group...Way to go Ry!!

BAYS Swim meets - Our "little star"...

In December, Bailey joined the BAYS (Bay Area Youth Swim) Club. Bailey LOVES to swim!! This is something new for her as it is competitive swim. She is doing well for only having two months of specific training (practice 1 hour a day - 5 days/week), she can do all four strokes. Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly and the Breaststroke. It is amazing at such a young age - kids can learn these things. If I had to pick her best stroke - I'd have to pick the "Breaststroke". Here are some pictures for you to enjoy...
