New Addition...

Adding another member to your family is a HUGE decision...and Jim & I have pondered over this decision for a couple of years now. I just wanted to let all of you know that we have added another baby girl to our family and her name is "Kiya" (hee hee)

She is an Akita...and she's 11 weeks old and full of energy. She's like a little teddy bear, she currently weighs about 22 lbs...but someday will weigh around 100 lbs. She will be a BIG dog.
About 4 years ago, we lost our other Akita "Keisha" to cancer and Jim and I vowed to get another Akita someday. Keisha was the BEST dog we ever had...so smart and very loyal to our family. Puppies are alot of work to train and we were just waiting for the right time. It's like having another baby again. We got out are old baby gates so she doesn't have full reign of the house...and we watch her like a hawk to we eliminate as many accidents as possible.

We had a "girls only" night at the Great Wolf Lodge over the chistmas break...it was such an awesome surprise for the girls and long overdue sister time. Look for some pictures more pictures on Tiff's blog SOON...

(hint hint) I snuck this picture of Bailey the other day as she was playing with her new "Bella Dancerella" that Santa brought her for Christmas. It's a DVD that comes with a mat and ballerina bar and it's supposed to teach her how to be a little ballerina...it was so cute watching her TRY to be a graceful ballerina...HeeHeeHee!
